Gestured with your glasses to point at something.

A beacon of Light from a burning screen.
Possibly, I don't specifically remember ever doing so, but it definitely seems like something I would do.
Don't think so
How quaint.
I use my glasses to see things, not point at things.

Chivalry be hanged, and so will you.
I'm nearsighted, I'm effectively blind without my glasses so I never take them off unless I need to clearn the lens or something. I'm pretty sure that would only be something farsighted people would do.
In fairness, Banner doesn't need to see the thing he's pointing at, they just added it in post production.

It's probably less about the nearsighted vs. farsighted as it is about how bad it is. I'm nearsighted, but I can still do just fine without my glasses.
no, that's stupid
they only come off to be cleaned or to sleep

I only take my glasses to sleep and shower.

Why would my glasses be in my hands?

No because the only time I ever take them off is to clean them, to get in the shower, or right before bed to set on my nightstand. I would never remove my glasses to have a conversation because I have horrible vision and everything would be a blurry mess without them. I'm blind as fuck. I need them.

This would only really be applicable to people with reading glasses who often remove them.

I didn't think of that, I will say I don't think a near sighted individual is as likely to be used to taking their glasses off on a regular basis as a far sighted person tends to be when they only need glasses for reading.

That was the angle I was coming from, but I only have the perspective of myself who has very poor vision. Do you frequently take your glasses off in a way this would be a natural gesture for you to make?

No that's why it's such a power move. People don't expect it.

Sure you take a hit to your accuracy.

But you get your damn point across I tell you hwhat.

Don't abuse this power my friends.

I've worn classes for like 20 years, and they almost never leave my face for anything other than a problem with my eyes.

I am virtually blind without them, so I wouldn't remove them to point at something because then I wouldn't be able to make out what I'm pointing at

If I'm on the computer I actually usually don't wear my glasses in the first place, but if I was I could definitely see myself doing this.
One should only ever take their glasses off in a slow, dramatic manner as they say "My god!"

Eh, I wear glasses because these days I need to read things that are more than 6 ft away so I take them off when I feel like it, Ive mainly done it when Im pointing them at people that are annoying me if I take them off to rub my eyes now you see what you are doing here?

I once removed my glasses and pointed them at the 1st base umpire who called a strike on a pitch that was out of the zone and I knew I had checked my swing on. He was not amused and I was ejected. It was fucking worth it.

Lol constantly.

You dont even need a screen. Just hold them with your fingers in the nose part and use one half of the glasses to do that finger pointing thing public speakers do.
