Or they eventually do a referendum on this ruling and consider letting some folks back in

Either way it's clearly a means to an end

I prefer the slow death. I was really bummed when 261 closed suddenly. I was in the middle of 2-3 convos. The slow death lets me more naturally transfer my time waster activities.

It still bothers me, the decision to do away with 261 then to funnel all political topics into CE and locking it away. Inept management running this site now.

In all honesty is there anyone on that list that is a huge loss that CE is worse off without? Not counting the trolls/shitposters.

There were plenty of decent users who very much line up with the general perspective of the boards majority(not that that should be a requirement) who got kicked. That they recieve the same punishment as career trolls/KOS users is one of my major problems with this setup.

She got suspended on CE after the closure though, if i remember correctly. You can't get back in on an account that got suspended on CE

That's what was said at first, but there have since been a few that still managed it.

Haven't they let some questionable users back in afterwards? If they draw the line on hockeybabe it says more about the admins here than her.
