Based on Trump's record of discriminatory housing in real estate it is clear that he does not believe black people should live in 'nice homes' like white people, they are suppose to live in housing projects.

It still irks me he put Carson in the spot. The dude is only good at one thing and he didn't place him there. But in hud. I am more qualified to run HuD

I think he did try to place him there but Ben Carson turned down the nomination because he thought he wasn't qualified, so he took HUD instead.

It's kinda hard to find articles about the 2016 transition right now but I remember the whole thing being really weird too that Ben Carson could run for president, turn down surgeon General cause he thought he wasn't qualified despite the aforementioned presidential attempt, and want to take HUD instead.
