Wow the other one purged already?Yep, the last post in it was on the 15th. Usually it takes 2-3 days of inactivity for a topic to purge on CE.
It's been pretty good, but I wouldn't call it "10/10 greatest anime of all time" good like a lot of people think it is.Its slow paced and has a certain melancholy, which makes it not for everyone. But I find it to be absolutely fantastic, and an adaptation that uplifts the source material to boot

Since Crunchyroll got Go Princess I'll do that next. Hope they can get Smile by the time I finish it
Another week, another day keeping track of who currently has the brain cell in Acro TripClearly not Berry, based on that god-awful attempt at a haircut.
God, I wish that were me.Am I the only one having issues getting freeimage to display images? I keep getting HTTP errors any time I click one of those links.

So what are you guys looking forward to next season?I will get around to this during the course of the week
But first, I want to point out that the Bunny Girl Senpai dub is dropping todayNice of them to finally dub it after like six years. I might watch that after I finish Frieren and the newest batch of Pokemon Horizons episodes.

Was drinking some coffee before bed tonight and while browsing Netflix I decided to watch the first episode of Inuyasha. Really brought me back. Inuyasha was the first "real" anime I watched as a kid after I had a bad cold one winter and I begged my mom to let me stay up until 11PM to watch it on Adult Swim. All the other times I asked she said no but this time, because I was recovering from a cold she allowed me to stay awake.Recently rewatched the entirety of InuYasha
And I have to say, this anime is better than I remembered. Inuyasha was not on my watch list this winter but I'll likely continue watching it every couple of days when I have time.
And the ending song got me super nostalgic.

The early part of the original series up to the Band Of Seven arc is fun, The Final Act was a fantastic way to close out the story, and Yashahime (the next generation sequel) wasn't that bad either. The problem is all of the filler/padding in the middle. At times it just felt like an endless loop of "meet person who needs help, help them, find Naraku, BEEEEEES! , Naraku gets away" for episodes on end. Inuyasha is the #1 series I wish would get the DBZ Kai treatment to trim out the filler/padding, but I doubt it'll happen any time soon. For now, I'd say once you finish the Band Of Seven arc, just jump immediately to The Final Act and skip the rest of the original series.
