I must be following the right people because most if not all of them have either announced in posts or their their videos that they have left Twitter/X completely and have moved to Blue Sky. Seems that the election was the straw that broke many of their backs and finally left that site completely. Sure they should have left sooner but better late than never.

I'm almost tempted to join Blue Sky myself. Never had a Twitter account even before this.

I dont know have many because Im not on Twitter and never have been. I only follow a couple YouTubers.

Its just something I have noticed at the end of their latest videos. And posts. "Follow me on Blue Sky," or something along that line. They don't go into detail but if it's happening now the reason seems clear why.

i already deleted the app from my phone
but if i were to delete my account, would i still be able to read posts people embed elsewhere?

cause alot of Ukraine war news it still posted via Twitter, and that's the only reason i keep it

People were are starting to use Xcancel which allows you to see Twitter posts without an account, but it's not perfect.

I don't know. I only follow them for their youtube stuff. I ignore their twitter, patreon, twitch, etc.

It's not a war crime the first time.

I dont believe any of the youtubers I watch are political in nature. I dont use X so dont really care. No interest in joining Bluesky.

I'm mainly talking about entertainment YouTubers but I get it. At the end of the day it doesn't matter.

Most of them have either moved completely or crosspost. It seems like the posts are more frequent on Bluesky for the ones still on Twitter too.

None or they just double-dip. No reason to move entirely to a smaller platform for most Youtubers.
They only use it for promoting their channels or streams anyway for the most part with ones I follow.
