Felt like echo and powder had more chemistry in 1 ep than jinx and vi did in 2 seasons.

Even Jayce and Viktor were better together.

yea, how I felt.

but that's also going back to Jinx & Ekko's fight scene in the first season, and how you could see that he still cared about her with how he spared her.

so it felt like a nice callback, to show their history together wasn't some one-off thing.

We needed more time for Vi to go from "Gas out Jinx and fucking shoot her on sight, Caitlyn" to "You're my sister I 100% trust you" (if it were to happen at all given how Season 1 ended with Jinx completely rejecting her past as Powder), and that shit ended up happening in less than one episode after a drunken boxing montage and a walk in the mushroom caves.

That's even fucking weirder, we went from "You're one of the good ones Vi, wear the uniform" to "Gas all Zaunites you're just as bad as them" to "sorry babe here's the plan on how to fight the warlord that's been pulling my strings for several months" to the already mentioned sex in a disgusting dungeon while Jinx is off to go kill herself . All in the span of 8 episodes, 1 of which having neither character, 1 barely having either character, and 3 episodes save for the last 10 minutes of one where they appear but not in the same place and don't interact with each other.

And I agree with those who loved Episode 7, just a beautiful episode. Seeing Powder being happy was just incredible

Most of its criticisms I know about Arcane are from disenfranchised lore nerds that feels frustrated that Arcane is basically rebooting the entire franchise by himself.

But yeah, it is easily on the top for me as well.

Essentially. I don't think Riot has the balls to kill Jinx, and they might use her for some future project.

She's definitely alive.

Caitlyn was looking at the blueprints and there were ventilation shafts out. That flash of her name at the end. Apparently if you look close, you can see a bit of the Shimmer blur away right before the grenade goes off. And apparently back in S1, Powder said she was going to ride those blimps one day.

I don't think it's necessarily just marketing, it'd just be a real bummer otherwise.

I really wish they continued with Viktor's descent into a machine as opposed to full on magic/void and making him the wizard from the past . Just look at this cool concept art they had:

Overall not as good as the first. Still had plenty of great moments, I don't care for the multiverse stuff but they kept it brief.

Seems they where going to have it be about Jinx becomeing a leader over a terroist but than that kinda went nowhere. It's like the people on top forgot that she nuked their council after the first three episodes.
It was great finanly seeing her and Vi fight out early on. I just feel that a mass murder like her gets of rather easy.

All in all good season.
