What is the appeal of Vtubers? I don't get it.They're just streamers. Consider them the halfway point between no cam and facecam. If you like the content they make there's no difference between them and any other streamer.

What is the appeal of Vtubers? I don't get it.Just think of them as streamers. They make entertaining content.
Could you please link me to that because I'm interested
By the way, apropos of nothing at all, here's little song (though it feels a little sadder given this context...):

you'd think Holo of all places wouldn't have an exodus like thisGoing public and having to listen to investors who only see the talents as replacable employees would cause that in any company.
Huh, that's it? There's no ASMR there, if what Kenobi said is rightShe has 2 channels, add ASMR at the end of that channel.
As an aside, I put one of the Lemonleaf ASMRs on and wow, this voice is the exact same. The equipment is nowhere as good on these but if she goes back to this with what she has now, it'll definitely be much better. The ones who want to stream primarily will likely fall out honestly, as Holo leans more and more into the idol scene. Randon/Vesper recently touched on it in a video. A lot of idea rejection to protect the brand, and turning activities into work.
but yeah, I'm thinking what's happening is Holo is getting bigger and bigger and what they're asking of the talent as a result is not really aligning with what they signed up for. Really, that more or less sounds like what happens when something gets more and more corporate, what you do turns into work and becomes much more rigid, resulting in not being able to do what one wants to do and had signed on to do.

Fauna literally said she liked being an idol. Stop with the idol angle.I wasn't talking about Fauna, just in general. I was just talking about how the business moves. Being a streamer is already a ton of work as is being an idol, which is more or less what I wager it was with Aqua/Chloe. That doesn't mean any bad blood, so chill. Business is business and as a company grows not every employee is going to live up perfectly with our as they and the business want different things.
....That also got me thinking, though. Those "products" you mention.....maybe they could be the "homework" that HoloID gang have been talking about lately?Maybe this is being a bit nitpicky but the way you phrased this makes me want to be clear: I don't actually know what's going on internally either. It's not like I know what "products" or whatever they're making and you're supposed to fit things you see to that. It's just a guess I made based on various sorts of available info, one of which is the "homework" thing (and it's not just ID that's mentioned it)

And why, despite Fauna's announcement coming after Chloe's, Fauna will graduate first. Most likely Fauna just wanted to be done sooner and had less commitments tbh.
