McDonald's once created bubblegum-flavored broccoli in an attempt to make kids eat more vegetables. The taste confused children and the product was pulled before it reached stores.

In the Philippines there was a mall that used to have a "security cat" named SG (security guard) Mingming. He was there to help employees destress, and just look cute in general. Sadly he passed away last year.

However, several months later, another mall found a kitten crying in the parking lot and took him in. His name is Conan and he now serves to carry out Mingming's legacy :3

North Korean teachers were required to play the accordion.
This musical instrument is also known as the peoples instrument due to its convenient size suitable for taking to marches. Students from all schools in the country were required to learn them. Teachers needed to pass an accordion exam before they get their teaching licenses.

People like to group The Goonies and The Monster Squad together as similar movies. Something else they share has to do with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, specifically Donatello. In the first live action trilogy Donatello had two different voice actors including Corey Feldman in the 1st and 3rd movies. The 2nd movie he was voiced by Adam Carl, who was in The Monster Squad (he was Jason Hervey's bully friend).
Every day I wake up and promise I will be nice to everyone, then I deal with people at work and remember why that will never happen.

Melting glaciers make fizzy noises. The noises can sound like radio static, white noise, frying food, or gunshots. They can be as loud as 120 decibels, which is louder than a car horn or kitchen blender. The noises are caused by the bubbles disengaging from the melting glacier and springing back into their original spherical shapes. And wow, I guess I haven't seen Aladdin for decades. The peddler at the beginning of the movie who tells the story is the Genie, and there was supposed to be a scene at the end that shows it. Hildegard of Bingen was a 12th century nun who prescribed cookies of joy to combat melancholy. Although the cookies had thing like spelt, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, while not having sugar, butter, eggs, or leavening. That cant have tasted good D:

While promoting the film "Spider-Man 3" (2007) on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Thomas Haden Church revealed that he broke three knuckles during the subway scene where he swings to punch Spider-Man and ends up punching a chunk of the wall away. Church said that the effects crew had told him that the brick in the middle was fake while the upper and lower ones were real. Unfortunately, the foam brick had not actually been put in place yet, and when director Sam Raimi yelled "Action," Church spun around and punched the real brick on the first take.

Surprisingly, it wasnt a fusion of Batman and Daredevil. The Black Bat was an old comic that came out in 1933 and preceded both Batman (1939) and Daredevil (1964).
