Israel will absolutely declare war with whatever UN power invades with the intent of capturing and arresting their military and civil leadership.

So, which nuclear power do you want Israel at war with? The US? The UK? France? I'd say Germany, but they're behind them about as hard as the US is, right now. No dangerous precedent, there.

But sure, let's jutlst charge in blind and send boots-on-the-ground forces to bring the entire nation to heel. Great plan! By God, makes you wonder why we didn't try this with Russia over Ukraine!

Yes.

They are a nuclear power, and will absolutely leverage their arsenal to hold the world hostage if threatened with invasion. Same as Russia.

Stop providing resources to Israel. If Israel is guilty of war crimes here then so is America.

Never give up on yourself or your fellow Americans. When you say nothing will ever change, you have given up.

History does not so much gets suppressed as ignored. Most of what we learn comes from school books approved by the board of education. If you write a text book that gets rejected, then you rewrite it so that it sells.

Slavery and child labor are no longer legal. Unions are growing. Improvements are slow to happen and what we have is a pale shadow of what we need.

We Americans must stop the genocide because no one else is going to stop it and it will keep going on until we do stop it so

NO TIME LIMIT.

Its what needs to happen. Israel needs to be demilitarized in the same way Japan was post-WW2, if not stricter.

If that happened the Mujahideen would invade and kill every Israeli as soon as they learn they have no military.

Support should absolutely be stopped. It's insane that this has gone on this long.

This is the only real thing that can be done by the US. I also would like to dismantle AIPAC but we know our greedy congress won't do that because they love money more than America.

And, in the meantime, just start sending in troops from every other UN nation to start snatching up Israeli soldiers?

Issue international arrest warrants for all those associated with war crimes, up to and including Netanyahu.

The ICC did that and America, for her part, invited Netanyahu to give a speech from Congress in response. The sad reality is the world is powerless to hold Israel accountable so long as America protects them, and the very few politicians willing to hold them to account are a fringe minority.

This is something some users here as well as some people within the Pro-Palestine movement ignore. Whether it's deliberately or ignorantly, I don't know.

It is the reason, why I repeatedly try to explain, that the situation in the middle east is much more complex than some people claim.

It is the right thing to condemn war crimes commited by Netanyahu and his regime. But it is also the right thing to condemn what Hamas and other terrorist organizations had done. It is important to understand the distinctions between governments and terrorist organizations on one hand, and civilians on the other hand (which includes civilians from all countries down there, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, etc.).

It would be so important, if more people and governments from western countries were able to understand such subtle distinctions before taking up a stance. For example, condemning the crimes that Netanyahu and his regime commit, acknowledging Israel's right to exist, and demanding a Palestine state, don't necessarily exclude each other. The important thing here is to understand the complexity of this conflict and the differences between governments, terrorist organizations and civilians, thus to refrain from taking up one-sided stances. This isn't a conflict where you can just say that you're "for" or "against" one side, because there are innocent civilians on both sides that deserve to be protected.

The ultimate goal shouldn't be "us vs. them" or "who wins", it should be "how can we reach a point in where the civilians of both sides have a future to live without fear?".

man im glad the some of the posters that said this was justified because they're complicit to Hamas's actions are banned.

Israel can pay (out of their own pocket) for a third party to defend them, if one doing so isnt already part of the demilitarization agreement.

They lost their right to self defence by abusing the capacity to wage genocide. No different to how you dont let a convicted felon own a gun regardless of what self defence needs theyre perceived to have.

Besides, you can't kill an ideology with bullets. Hamas was not the first, the only one or the last anti-Israel group in Gaza, and even if they were, Israels actions gives birth to the next generation of anti-Israel fighters.

We have had Oct 7 hostages that managed to escape from Hamas.
They waved a white flag, said in Hebrew that they were escaped hostages, and the IDF killed them because they thought they were Palestinas.
