Less than a year after we moved out of our last apartment, the place burned down. Fire started directly across the hall from ours and ours looked pretty bad. They had to total the whole building.

I'm sure stuff is lost, but he didn't actually live with his collection. That room with all the games is actually his storage unit.

He's really cool. I don't interact with him personally in any level other than watch his videos on youtube. I saw the picture of what was his house and I was just thinking damn what a travesty hard to put into words. Hurricanes apparently aren't supposed to go that far inland.

I do miss his older style of videos though, where he was basically a big kid who liked computers a whole bunch. He was immature enough to be funny, but never anything close to being offensive or unprofessional.

His new/current stuff is very polished, but feel more like a good history lesson. He's less silly, and you get less of his infectious personality.

I still watch him, I even followed LGRBirds for a while, and I want him to continue making content assuming that makes him happy.

This was definitely the video that got him back on my "radar" so to speak. I think he's cool and still and does great historical videos. Stuff like this is instant legend. I am not really into the technical side. So when he builds a pc or fixes one I don't really care. He did do a video about a teddy bear PC that was adorably funny. That was a year or two ago probably.
