I am not happy that BG3 uses Abdel Adrian as the canon Gorion's Ward.

I have spent years trying to erase the old BG tie-in novels from my memory.

I wish Breath of Fire III allowed you to swap party members like IV does. The game frequently swaps your party automatically or halts progression if you don't bring a specific party member.

You have to equip consumable items to use them. And most of those items are worthless. And it's also extremely easy (SotN)

Max Payne 3's (mostly) unskippable cutscenes is it's biggest vice. It's the only thing stopping it from being a near-perfect game.

Rockstar, pls remaster it.

there is no such thing as 95% because everything is 50/50

Mario + Rabbid Sparks of Hope doesn't have a versus multiplier.

Hitman, the slow and cumbersome dragging of bodies. In other games like Red Dead and Splinter Cell you can pick up bodies and carry them around. Meanwhile, 47 a genetic experiment has to slowly and awkwardly drag them around. It's a little thing, but it's a pain sometimes how slow it is.
  • Mass Effect 2: The ammo powers aren't tuned for higher difficulties
  • XCOM 2: War of the Chosen: The reaper class renders scout-specced rangers obsolete.
  • Civilization 6: Diplomacy leaves a lot to be desired.
  • Battlefield 2: I'm the only one who misses it.
  • Rimworld: No z-axis, the graphics suck, the UI is terrible, the AI is dumb, and many of the game's systems could be improved.
  • Oxygen Not Included: The cosmetic system is poorly implemented.
  • Final Fantasy 6: Some of the playable characters aren't as fleshed out as they could have been.
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: No blue mages.
  • Red Dead Redemption: None; it's literally perfect
  • Stardew Valley: Sandy doesn't attend festivals after the bus gets repaired .
New Vegas is pretty buggy plus you kinda have to follow the same route every playthrough. Also weapon mods are inconsistent in the base game

On Red Dead Redemption II the only way to get a temporary horse is to steal one or break one in the wild. You then have to ride it enough to get a level 1 bonding so it will respond to commands like whistles and not run off on you if you dismount.

You need to be able to take out a 2nd owned horse from the stable and have two saddled horses at once so I can role play long hunting trips where I can load up the second horse with another set of smaller animals like rabbits, racoons, or skunks on the saddle along with another large full carcass.

Better yet make the 2nd horse be able to be a dedicated non riding "pack horse" where I can connect like 6 rabbits to the saddle and the ability to carry two large carcasses instead of just one.

The game is virtually almost perfect for my tastes but just needs a couple small changes like this.

Pokemon Heart Gold & Soul Silver = terrible level curve and bad Pokemon availability in the first half of the game (same as the original G/S/C)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky = just let us pick our Pokemon instead of doing the stupid questions every time
Fire Emblem: Blazing Blade = Battle Before Dawn is one of the worst chapters in the franchise and Raven is most susceptible to being RNG screwed
Fire Emblem: Engage = the story sucks and I don't like the localization/censorship in some of the support conversations
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards = too easy (but this applies to pretty much every Kirby game)
Soul Calibur 2 = still no definitive version with all 3 guest characters
Tales of Symphonia = too long and the gameplay hasn't aged well, no reason for me to ever replay it when I can just watch the anime instead
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 = I don't care about campaign or zombies, and the multiplayer has been unplayable for years due to hackers (but these apply to pretty much every 5+ year old CoD game)
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate = meh single-player content and the DLC characters mostly outclass the main cast, which makes me even saltier that they nerfed Pichu who wasn't even that great

The game would be even better if the main character talked and had a personality (yes I am talking about Crono).
Every day I wake up and promise I will be nice to everyone, then I deal with people at work and remember why that will never happen.
Final Fantasy 6: It's easy like absurdly so if you bother to go off the beaten path in the end game. I don't like the stat system either.
Final Fantasy Tactics: Similar to FF6 the game is stupidly easy to completely break apart

also the license board should've been replaced with buffs for the item instead. why is equipping steel armor impossible after wearing iron armor? should be things like "steel armor +20% def" or soemthing generic like "heavy armor +5% def"

arcanum is heavily unbalanced against technology as it requires a lot more investment do to the same thing as magic. things like making and using firearms is a lot harder than straight magic. though i did like starting combat and throwing a bunch of mechanical spiders out and sniping from a distance

Chrono Trigger: AOE control is vastly underutilized and cool stuff like Cyclone or Flamethrower become completely pointless after you unlock your 2nd tier spells that can nuke the whole screen. Also, 65 Million BC isn't very fun. Despite how important it is to the story it just feels like filler every time you're there.

Persona series: The Social Links are a cool idea but I hate that the relationships are largely static, and the only thing your dialogue affects is how quickly you can progress.

Once I found out that they released a different version with 3rd person camera, I gave it another try.

The early, less depressing parts of RDR2 are far shorter than they should be.
I'd almost like to get to play the stuff leading up to the failed ferry job as the prologue, just so you can hang out in the camp before it gets super depressing.

Perfect Dark has a pretty disappointing ending. It doesn't ruin the story, but the dialogue and character interaction feels kinda weak compared to everything else. Thankfully the most kick-ass credits ever put to a video game immediately pops up afterwards and makes you forget about it.

Virtua Fighter 4 Evo - Black is a good color for your custom outfits. How do you get black? By losing 100 matches. Sure there is a way to cheese this but it's still lame.

Terror in Sekiro. Hell actually every insta death status in every souls game.
Kingdom Hearts 2: leveling up forms is tedious as fuck and not having their movement abilities is boring.

SA2B: Light Dash and Bounce Attack are the same button, so starting a Light Dash in the air is a gamble. A-ranking Crazy Gadget's hard mode is infuriating cuz you're fighting the inverted gravity controls at the same time as Sonic's urge to bounce plummet instead of Light Dash.
