Indifferent. Its just weird to have currency that is technically rare but useable currency.Like the dollar coins?

I collect them for some reason. Got some nice crisp onesWtf, for some reason I literally have you tagged as your username lmao
$2 is a coin here. We switch over at $5.
Though also lol cash
Cash is useful in some limited scenarios if I'm trusting someone to go get something for me I'd rather hand them cash than my card. I barely trust my mom with my card.I'd just transfer the money to their card lol

It's far easier to just hand them cashYep, soooo much easier to find an ATM, get cash out, hand that over, deal with the change you get back; than to just grab out your phone and quickly transfer some money.
Yep, soooo much easier to find an ATM, get cash out, hand that over, deal with the change you get back; than to just grab out your phone and quickly transfer some money.100% this. It takes like 30 seconds to do a bank transfer and that's if I include the time it takes to connect through the app. If you have the cash on you and the person is physically there with you, it's probably quicker to give them cash. Aside from that, it's way easier to just transfer funds.
I get that America's backwards infrastructure means you don't really have a choice, but that's not actually "cash is good", that's just "your infrastructure is so bad that cash seems alright by comparison".

Umm Walmart tends to have a cash back option even in self checkout. Some gas stations even do.That still involves having to go to a specific place to get some cash, only to then give that to another person. A bank transfer is just a few taps on a phone.
When I did always keep cash that's how I did it. I always buy stuff for work on my off days. (Gave me an excuse to get out of the house so I only bought exactly how much I needed for a stretch of days) And if my cash had been depleted I would get cash back.
Plus if you want your change back that's also less of a hassle with cash.
Speaking of I hate how cash app doesn't show exactly how much money you got. It doesn't show how many cents above the dollar amount you got. Random gripe.

I go to the store anyways. I just used to always keep cash on me and that's how I did it.That's fine if I know I need to give cash to someone, but that's really rare. I legit don't think I've used cash in several years now. I don't keep cash on me anymore, my money is more secure and easier to keep track of in my account. I disable contactless on my cards and just use my phone for most in person transactions.
We did a thing at work where someone would collect orders and go get food. So I was regularly having to trust people with my money. I've seen people get their cards lost on a regular basis.
One time I felt especially bad for a dude. He had his card lost 3 times. The last time it got found and we all came in shouting we found it we found it to be met with a god damnit they literally just deactivated my card for me.
But anyways you make it sound harder than it is to keep cash on you. You have to go grocery shopping unless you just order stuff to be delivered or for pick up. So pull cash out when you do that
I've still never seen a Jefferson. If I got one it would always be in my wallet.
Just go to your bank and ask for some. That's not the same. It's about encountering it in the wild.

Most men dont have anything to carry coins in other than their pockets, it is one thing to loose a few quarters but if there were only dollars coins, it would really suck to loose those. So in other words, dollar coins are misandrist.Do they not carry wallets?
It really does bug me though under a certain dollar amount Walmart does not ask for my pin code.Yeah that's crazy here. If you're paying by card, the machines always ask for your PIN, no exceptions. Hell, even with contactless on the cards, they'll block the odd one here and there and require a pin. You don't need it if you're paying through a device (etc Apple Pay) but that's because the device security is usually more secure than a PIN.
Also irritates me I used my card out of state no problem but I order groceries to be delivered to my address and my card got shut down for suspicious activity.
I worked at a bank so i got very used to $2 bills - but I used to bug out whenever I saw a red $2 since they're pretty rare.I've never seen one of those. Do you mean a red US $2 bill?
