https://www.youtube.com/shorts/qHLWL7pzIikThe one time when Gohan didn't dodge became a positive.
TFS Vegeta is best version of Vegeta. Its just regular Vegeta but to the extreme. He is the hype.
Which one?Vegeta's sacrifice.
Vegeta's sacrifice.
During their creator commentary for the Buu Bits, Kaiser and Lani said that the way they did it in the buu bits ("Bulma, Trunks, I do this for you. And yes, even you, Best Buddy") wasn't their original plan, and they took it "from a fan."
I wrote that idea, word for word, in a comment on their video when they announced they were canceling Bojack and ending the show. I thought of that joke yhe very first time I Jerard Goku call Vegeta "best buddy" on the show, and just sort of thew it out in a comment as something I regretted not getting to see them do, and how I imagined the joke going. And the comment got a ton of likes, including from them, and was top rated on that video for a while.
So I like to think they used my joke for the final version of the scene. Granted, I'm sure I'm not the only person who had that idea, or suggested it over the years. But i remember the big reaction when I posted it, and like to think I influenced something in a show Ive enjoyed since like the 9th grade, lol.
I thought FF7 Abridged really struggled for a while, but they did finally hit their stride. And then they stopped making them.Yeah it seemed to be their most consistent series release wise. Definitely the easiest to edit and put out. I wish they could do something similar but most seem to have went their seperate ways which is understandable.
It is the best version of Dragonball.

SAO was great until it turned into a dumb harem bullshitAgreed. The original premise was so cool and I wish the anime didn't use so many time skips to speed through the first arc.
Wait, did they? Thats news to me. I thought they took a hiatus from it and never finished. Well damn, I have something to watch now. They called the last part the ff7 abridged movie.

That was like episode 3Nah 11
Every time someone insinuates this, it 100% justifies Toei's hatred of Team Fourstar.considering the crap Toei has been shoveling out since DBZ, I'm glad Team Fourstar created something for the fans to love.
I will kill as many people as I have to as long as you are one of themIsrael's current foreign policy
considering the crap Toei has been shoveling out since DBZ, I'm glad Team Fourstar created something for the fans to love. And what's funny, is that after the Toonami boom started to die down, most people started to lose interest in DBZ outside of the Boudokai games. TFS reinvigorated its popularity long enough for the games and Super to cement it permanently.
i hate that we lost the Broly subtitle jokes when Youtube banned user generated subtitles.Awe man I must have missed that one.
Awe man I must have missed that one.If i remember right some of it was, that when Goku is talking to Gohan it say's 'Goku', but when Piccalo shows up and starts asking Gohan questions it say 'Gohan's Dad'.
SAO:AbridgedIs great, but gets 1 episode a year if we're lucky. I know I'm gonna love the next episode but leaving us with that ep 17 ending for over a year...
I don't know how people can say it "stopped making jokes" when Cell exists.
What actually happened was that their writing evolved and became stronger. If they had kept the joke-a-second pace that they had in the first season, it would have become tiring to watch. But thankfully they realized that humor works better when given serious or mundane moments to play against, and started writing that way. This was also the point that their versions of the characters became better written as well.
It became less about overt pop culture humor, and became more referential to itself, the characters involved, and Dragon Ball itself. I highly suggest everybody go watch the creator commentaries they did last year, they really go in depth on their process and how the series and its humor evolved.
It is the best version of Dragonball.
It was good, it did almost become a new dub it felt like at the end, but still kept the parody feeling. Just some scenes it is hard to make funny, some you have to play straight ( Gohan going ssj2 is an example)

And even in some of their more epic/serious moments, they found ways to inject humor in a way that didn't take away from the scene itself or shift the tone. For example, Goku's motivational speech while Gohan is beam struggling with Cell.
