All they got is kratos tho. Like who's supposed to be their mascot?Ape escape monkey
Ratchet and Clank are the only choice they have right now as an approachable mascot character.

Knack is right there
As a huge fan of MediEvil , I'm disappointed to see nobody mentioning Sir Daniel Fortesque here.I did. I just jacked up the spelling as usual, lol. I keep calling it medieval for some reason.
I see a lot of names thrown out here, but how many of them are actually owned by Sony or Sony's subsidiaries?I at least know that all the names I posted sony owns them. They also own most of the rights to dark cloud....level 5 theirselves was interested in making a part 3 a long time ago, but they couldn't do anything with it unless sony gave the go-ahead.
"Our logo is kind of like a mascot!"It basically is. In Astro Bot, all the collectable gacha items related to Sony's past are all the hardware, like EyeToy, the microphone, PS1, PS2, etc. All I could think is, "If this was a Nintendo game, all the collectable gacha items would be first-party characters, or celebrating the software/games they came from instead of the hardware."

Say what you will about its execution, but just look at how many Spirits there are even if you cut out the third party games, and I think the total number that are peripherals are in the single digits out of 1k+.
Ape Escape
Ratchet & Clank
Jak
Sly Cooper
Twisted Metal
Maybe they shouldn't keep introducing new IPs and then abandoning them at the start of a new gen
