Vale was the only close to good one. If her outfit had more colour to it it would have been fineCmon bro you know nobody here played the game so we dont know who that is or what they look like. Post pics

Idk they look pretty interesting to me, not really a fan of hero shooters though.IMP, they're kinda generic and don't really convey what the character is supposed to be. Deadlock has pretty generic characters, too, but their designs do a good job signifying what they do.
Are people just mad they cant jerk off to them? Seems like bad character design is just kinda a dog whistle for that at this pointIt's bad design. Even if every character was conventionally attractive there's a lack of basic principles like distinguishable silhouettes, the color design/theory is completely random and garish, the reliance on motion capture doesn't give most character distinct animation/locomotion, and the overall writing, presentation and voice acting doesn't make any of the characters seem interesting, relatable or attention-grabbing.

I don't think character design is the only reason the game failed, though.

Are they really so different from what you see in Apex Legends?https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/b/bff694bb.jpg
"Who made that man a gunner?"I'm willing to bet his an actually worked as a programmer for the game. He looks so generic like a neighbor in the 90s
"I DID SIR. HE'S MY COUSIN."
"So how do you want to approach character design here?"
"Well, we should start with the basic colors, and then..."
"Say no more, that's a wrap folks!"
I would actually argue most of them look too intentionally over the top goofy/stupid and maybe 1-2 are generic
I was gonna say that the woman in the top right has a pretty decent design because you get a lot of druid plant-magicky vibes from her, but then I noticed that she's the one on the cover of the game holding a fireball in her hand (just wearing a different outfit for some reason), so I guess not.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/0/006f443e.jpgLooks like Chris Redfield likes to go paint balling in his free time. (:
I dunno, is that a good character design?
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/9/998525b3.jpgMaan, I wasn't really going to post, just lurking, but seriously, wtf is that? Looks like Clayfighter 64 characters. And the other one someone posted looks like MK3 era Stryker.

And the other one someone posted looks like MK3 era Stryker.I'm pretty sure the one under "or" is just Sindel in space.
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/9/998525b3.jpgIt looks like a crypto "project."
I won't even say that these characters look like Guardians of the Galaxy knock-offs.
They look like extras in the background of Guardians of the Galaxy knock-offs.
It also feels like that they probably started off the game with an alternative artstyle and was forced to go with a realistic style because some exec saw thought it would look better(and was cheaper)They actually made a few shorts with a stylized cel-shaded look
Also, the fact that they went the realistic look didnt do them any favors.yep, i'm really over hyper-realism, motion capture, face models, etc. art styles are cool. #make video games artistic again
I'm pretty sure the one under "or" is just Sindel in space.I noticed that too.
