they face the Giants next week, so that streak will end.I have learned never to underestimate how low the current White Sox can go.
Giants are loss-streak enders.

Is the 1899 Cleveland Spiders win percentage record still safe as the worst ever even if the White Sox lose all their remaining games? It's safe. With the modern 162-game schedule, the equivalent to the Spiders' 0.130 record would be 21-141, and the White Sox have won 27. If they lose every single one of their remaining games, they'd end the season with a 0.167 record.

The number to beat in the AL is 21, and for modern MLB, it's 26. Can they do it?
lol. the bears have some hope this year but i hope they fall apart as hilariously as usualhttps://youtu.be/G5D8RIAMhNU?si=xIEShHTySHj0BfYT

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYGxY5icxjcThat's fucking amazing lol.
This is from last year, but this is the greatest sports radio rant I've ever heard and it's about the White Sox. Berto just gets angrier and angrier the more he rants and the hosts just let him go.
You know it's bad when you get swept by that loser franchise, the Seattle Mariners. Who were in the middle of free falling out of the playoffs race, with their atrocious offense and bullpen.Hey, they're back in first place now, and they've just won the series against the Phillies. Their offense being consistently terrible and only propped up by their lights-out pitching is just mystifying.

If it is like the AL West last year, then that division won't be decided until the last couple of weeks. As for the White Sox, they are pathetic when they make the A's look competent.Yes that's true they're playing better at the moment, but that team's had a long history of letting their fanbase down. Only MLB team not to have make it to a World Series for a good reason. A terribly run organization and the current ownership is notoriously cheap with his money. Offseason after offseason not spending top dollar to plug the holes that need to be fix. The Mariners literally downgraded on offense, because they were too cheap to resign a few of their decent hitters.

Gotta wait to see if this current winning run the Mariners are on is sustainable. They did make some trades recently to get better.
Who is "the one that got away" in recent Mariners history?Juan Soto would've been a big help in the lineup.
Juan Soto would've been a big help in the lineup. They had a decent chance to get Shohei Ohtani, too.
If any team is beatable, it's the A's.
Juan Soto would've been a big help in the lineup.Pretty sure you guys would love to still have Ketel Marte right now too.

I'd have loved for guys like Ohtani, Soto, and Glasnow to come to the Royals but I would never reasonably expect them to because free agents/expiring contracts of that caliber don't typically sign there. Not trying to salt the wound but when has Seattle ever been a "destination" for high profile free agents? When they signed Adrian Beltre 20 years ago?I see its appeal as a team that is JUST on the edge of greatness and any of those superstars could be all they need for that final push over the edge, and they could take a lot of the credit for bringing this historically terrible team to the World Series or something to that effect. It's remarkable how well they've been doing these last few years with almost no stat power to speak of.
Pretty sure you guys would love to still have Ketel Marte right now too.Eh, there's a chance his career would've taken a nosedive if he'd stayed. The Mariners have troubles coaching up hitters, and they routinely shift the blame on hitting coaches by firing them every year. We've had plenty of hitters leave, only to have better careers elsewhere other than Seattle.
Thanks for that btw
