I tend to prefer regular fries tbh.
some restaurants add certain types of spices or seasoning that kinda makes the fries taste kinda meh. I find myself adding more salt to make it taste better

I believe we call them shoe string fries and they are the most popular in my state according to a poll. I prefer burger kings between the two but really miss bks satisfries. They got discontinued because they sold poorly but I believe it's because they marketed them as a healthier option. They where legit better.

Bojangles fries are even better if seasoned right. But I don't think anything tops curly fries.

I much prefer the flavor to come from the sauce I'm dipping it in.

Ketchup is good. Mayo mixed with hot sauce or curry powder is better. Or whatever, there are lots of creative options.

I prefer regular salted fries to spiced fries.

To me the quality comes from the type of potato, the way they were fried etc.
