Next relatively big fundraising day will probably be debate night assuming Kamala does well. I'm hoping she reaches a billion soon in donations because that'd be awesome (but also frightening because elections shouldn't cost this much).
As someone who voted for Trump in 2016okbutytho
This is pretty fucking amazing
As someone who voted for Trump in 2016 and just changed his party registration to the Democratic party...I could not be more pumped.
I wonder how much more money will come in, when and if Taylor Swift makes her endorsement? Regardless, that's a crazy large amount of money being raised.I don't think she's going to endorse at this point, >.< . I think she's afraid of Trumpers hurting her or her fans.
I'm looking forward to seeing if that amount of enthusiasm from donations, also translates to long lines of people waiting to vote? Once early voting starts with Pennsylvania going first in a couple weeks.

Hey, y'know what? Good on you for realizing what Trump was and making a conscious decision to move away from that.Seconded.
okbutytho
I welcome any Republican who's willing to vote for Kamala and the Democrats after seeing Trump ruin the country with his false promises and vileness.
jingoist
I don't know how anyone could vote for Trump after his COVID-19 response and the January 6 terrorist attack.
There was already a huge outcry of Republicans turning on Trump the day it happened and the weeks that followed. One of the reasons he went so hard on the election being stolen is that if he couldn't convince people that it was stolen that would mean the J6 attack was unjustified and everyone committed the worst crime possible: they were wrong.
There was, but then Trump grabbed power. He invited the GOP's congressional leadership to Mar-a-Lago and made them all bend the knee to him. Now, if you believe that Trump didn't win the 2020 election...you're basically persona non grata in the GOP.I meant more about the voters not the politicians.
I meant more about the voters not the politicians.
But again, the main reasons the politicians bent the knee to Trump is because the voters supported Trump that much.In other words, it's a cult
70% of Republican voters believe that Trump actually won the 2020 elections. The GOP politicians know better, but it doesn't matter, because they need that 70% of voters on their side. The likes of Lindsey Graham/Ted Cruz know this, so they fold and cave like the little bitches that they are. The GOP politicians who didn't kiss Trump's ass all got primaried by Trump-supported candidates (Kinzinger, Cheney).

This could be her lowest week yet, :/A major slowdown happened during Labor Day. I think she'll be close to the $70,000,000 mark by the end of the week.
Vice President Harris' campaign announced Friday that it raised a staggering $361 million in August, solidifying her financial advantage over former President Trump.
It's nearly triple the $130 million that Trump's campaign said it raised in August, giving the VP an edge entering the final stretch of the 2024 campaign.
The Harris campaign said it ended August with $404 million in cash on hand, compared to the $295 million the Trump campaign said it had.
Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is channeling some of its fundraising success toward down-ballot races that will be essential for the party to enact its agenda if she wins the White House, multiple outlets reported Tuesday.
Asked by Newsmax host Rob Schmitt what needs to change to make the RNC more competitive, Lara Trump said Tuesday: The RNC needs to be the leanest, most lethal political fighting machine weve ever seen in American history.
Every single penny will go to the No. 1 and the only job of the RNC that is elected Donald J. Trump as president of the United States and saving this country.
