Yeah, I loved Golden Axe at the time and still enjoy playing it occasionally.

Played it but Im indifferent. Was never that wild about games like that or Altered Beast (same creator). Played it a bit in high school but just enough to complete the game in a short amount of time.

I loved Altered Beast (and even picked up the werewolf figure that Jakks released), but that game was such jank. Was disappointed that the sequel didn't get released in the US.

I love it.

I was one point ranked on Xbox live (circa 2007) like 10tn on its leaderboard. I was proud of that achievement.

Yeah.

I feel like it doesn't hold up as well as some of the other Mega Drive classics, but I loved it at the time, and I still enjoy it now.

TC you should do more lesser known games to fuck with CE.
Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple

I'm gonna be that guy. Gray with red trim... I always played her. Started off as younger sibling problems and I wasn't gonna play the dwarf.

What's THAT supposed to mean? You got a problem with dwarves?!

(Beast Rider was single-player only. What the actual fuck. How do you make a GA game and say "Eh, no multiplayer sounds right"?)
THE FIGHT WILL CONTINUE, AS LONG AS THE AMERICA INSIDE MY HEART IS STILL ALIVE
It was fun in that usual beat 'em up style. It's not really my type of game

I was a kid playing a short stocky guy didnt seem cool. Plus preferred swords If I was a kid now with some preferences I have now I'd pick him

I partial to lightning based magic/powers

Loved it along with the aforementioned altered beast.
Italian, French, German.
I did feel it was a bit hard. I assume it was originally a arcade game?

My brother always picked blue speedo guy, but I didn't mind because I always wanted to play the girl anyway lol. And yeah, I thought the dwarf was lame. My dad always picked the dwarf when he played. Never played story mode, he just liked the mode where you defeated waves of enemies.

Young kids want to try to play every single video game they can get their hands on. This was one of the games that every kid I've met wants to hang out and play. It's really easy to get into and get better since the game is so repetitive, but the sound effects and action keep you drawn in.

Hmm I always did wind up picking the girls

Blaze in streets of rage. But once again brother picked axel and even to this day I struggle with playing Adam. Which is a shame cause I felt he was the coolest looking in that entry

Streets of Rage was my jam more than Golden Axe, for sure. Loved Blaze. Think I picked females characters because it's always been more interesting to me than seeing a man do these things-- because 99% of media, at least when I was growing up, was men being the hero.

Yes! And Streets of Rage which is the better game.
I actually liked being the dwarf and using his big axe, lol. The red magic girl was cool too for her fire dragon.

This is where cool people write stuff.
I absolutely adored Golden Axe 1 and 2.

It was one of the first games I got for my Mega Drive. My favourite character was Tyris Flare.
Hi.
Indifferent. I like the series' setting and characters and whatnot, but as a genre, I really do not like Beat em Ups.

It's fun for a short while but it needed more polish and the difficulty curve was on the steep side.

I like 3 though.
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.
Loved it in arcades but it's a bit tough to go back to
