Thats why I think Economically Conservative Fiscally Conservative, and Fiscally Responsible should each mean different things. The latter two focusing on government spending, with EC being a more broad right of center term.

Basically I feel like a lot of politics and media is becoming too focused on identity and moral customs over concepts like policy substance and artistic expression, which I am against. A couple of examples:

When Bernie claimed his progresive campaign was struggling in the south due to the area's conservative lean, a lot of Democrats accused him of being racially insensitive towards the minority voters in those areas. I would call thatan example since it tries to use identity to dismiss an accurate statement regarding state politics.

Some video games localized from Japan in America give certain characters more reserved clothing or remove bodily customization options in order to tone down sexualization, or change the nature of their dialogue to meet local appropriateness standards. I would call that an example, since it puts an external audience's approval ahead of the original vision of the creator.
