Apparently the whole Western US did not have softball fields up to standards and OKC also had a water way capable for it.

OKC is congressman is also the chair of an appropriations committee which Im sure played a lil role too

Makes sense. The college softball World Series is always in OKC as well.

and as somebody who watches college softball every year, I kinda think its bullshit because it basically gives home field advantage to Oklahoma. Guess who has won the last four college softball World Series? And seven of the last eleven?
