I hate commercials that act like the dad of the household is an incompetent dipshit that needs his wife to save the day on basic, everyday tasks! I know how to work a fucking washing machine, Tide!!
Yet sitcoms back in the 60s for example the wife had to ask the husband's permission for something in the same way that a child would.
And have you seen those Folgers Coffee commercials where the wife is treated like shit cause her coffee came out bad?
