The one from 1928? It's incredible. Almost hypnotic. I watched it years ago and went into it with the mindset "this will be a famous movie
for its time
that probably won't hold up as well today," and by the end I was entranced. Granted, it's a dialogue-driven "courtroom drama" about religious persecution, so it won't be everyone's cup of tea. But if you're into classic movies, it's basically a must-watch. (EDIT: I realize belatedly that "dialogue-driven" makes no sense for a silent film. By that description, I mean it's the sort of movie where people just sit around and talk to each other. No action.)
