These are the same people preaching about the "rules-based international order" to developing countries. Somehow China having maritime disputes with its neighbours is worse than the US invading Iraq in spite of UN opposition.

The difference is that China isn't lecturing to other countries on how to govern themselves. The US meanwhile cries all the times about countries it dislike "violating rules" but threatens ICC judges when the tables are turned.
