How much was it? I have two 3DS systems, one regular and another XL, but they're both damaged in different ways. The regular has some buttons that don't respond, so playing Smash 3DS became impossible, and the XL's thumbstick wore down somehow (despite having more play time on the regular 3DS) and the charge port is wonky so that charging is difficult, and also the battery life is awful, barely being able to play for 3 hours before it dies.
Without truth, there is nothing.

3ds XL is amazing, I've been playing Pokemon Moon on mine lately. I wish I had brought it to Japan with me for streetpass, huge regret.

I bought three New 3DS XL when they were relatively cheap. One to keep as is. The others to experiment on hardware since I do like to tinker, like doing screen replacements.

It's an interesting device.

Like many Nintendo systems, I found it to have a "quality over quantity" kind of library.

The GBA has both, but hey, who's counting?

The buttons not working is probably because the contacts are dirty, my GBC has the same problem with the D-pad. I'm not sure about the charger port, but youtube has DIY videos showing how to clean the contacts and replace the thumb stick. I had the same problem with my 3DS thumb stick a while back and it's not to difficult to replace.

How was the quality of the used one? I'm still pissed I didn't pick up one back when I worked at GameStop in 2013, they were pretty cheap at the time and it looks like the used priced has skyrockted over time. Really want to play MGS3 Snake Eater 3d and Majora's Mask/OoT 3D
