Gotta get that drip imo

Looks don't win you games
Italian, French, German.
well you see
No lollygaggin'.
Mostly function, but I might choose to not wear a helmet for style. I love games where you can still wear a helmet hide it.
Many Bothans died to bring you this post.
Transmog for the win, get the stats while looking good.
Min-Max always.

I specifically go out of my way to look as ridiculous as possible to stack as many buffs as possible on a single stat.
How can the moon landing be real if the moon isn't real?
In single player. Stats. MMOs before there was the transmog/glamour things, style.

it depends on how effective the armor is. Dark Souls 2, gimmie fashion all day.
I hope something good happens to you today
Playing: God of War: Ragnarok
Single player style

Monster Hunter you better have the right crap on unless you can pull no hit runs.

Elden Ring you die either way, so should go into the coffin looking clean.

Depends on the game I guess but overwhelmingly function.

If the game is just super easy I might go for fashion. Maybe.
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.
Depends on the game, but usually stats > style. If it's a minor difference though, I'll swap a few items out for appearance.

I always carry a combat set and a non-combat fashion set at all times. In unclear situations a hybrid of those two sets will do. But fashion and appearance is always on the mind.

Stats almost always. I wish more games had it like DC Universe Online did where once you got equipment you unlocked the look so you could keep the look and change gear.
Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.

Honestly, I just wish they'd go back to the days where equipment was JUST stats. A handful of more recent games do this but for the most part the armor is visible.

On the other hand, it would be kinda fun to run around Tokyo beating up mysterious men in black while actually dressed in chainmail and kitten slippers.

Stats first always

My MH characters usually look ridiculous for that reason

Yeah I wouldn't necessarily say overwhelmingly for me but that's pretty much where I'm at too. I do prefer to have my gear match but if I can get better stats then I'm prioritizing that

I try to balance but definitely favor function. I always hate whenever a games early gear looks more like standard/regular real-world stuff and then the endgame gear is all unwieldy and ceremonial-looking.

Slutty gear has the best stats so its a no brainer.

style. but most games that i've played, with visibly changing outfits, haven't penalized me harshly from choosing style from what i can remember. there's a few, but games seem to have set character models, glamour options, or no glamour options but you're pretty much the same whatever you wear.

from what i've played.

Stats until youre good enough to style on enemies.

Fashion, unless the stat boosts are absolutely necessary for a winning edge.

This is a cool sig
Function unless the style is just too good and useful stats still, overall.

Stats don't win you games either.

Skills do.

Style, baybee. Monster Hunter games keep locking layered armor behind the postgame and I consider that a hate crime against fashion hunters.
