Conservatives operate almost entirely on revenge and upsetting people

Ive been discussing politics with people both in person and online lately, and ive come to the (obvious) conclusion that republicans dont even care about improving the country.

They just want to own the libs and make the lives of their opposition worse. Thats literally it. There was a guy who supported the bill to ban wearing masks in NC because its the republicans punching back against liberal overreach. They dont want to help anyone, they just want to be mad and take it out on their opponents.

I just cannot believe one of the 2 significant parties in this country doesnt even want to attempt to make things better for people

Ive asked people what conservative policies have improved their lives and its always just vague anti-woke culture war shit. I live in Texas, and this guy I know listed Desantiss lab meat ban as a great conservative policy that will improve his life.

The rich and the greedy only want to make things better for themselves.

Making it worse for everyone else makes people angry, and someone who is angry isn't thinking clearly. Those same people's anger can be directed to get them elected again.

It's a snake eating it's own tail; Their strategy of being awful to make people angry is then used to continue the cycle of lying to angry people.
