Can the electromagnetic waves your brain generates ever leave your brain?

If they can how far can they get?

Your brain isn't perfectly insulated, so yes, they can.

This is not at all a viable way for any sort of psychic or ghost thing to happen. The closest you get is electrodes stuck to your scalp, to control machines for simple tasks.

Not even force lightning?

Yeah they just need some type of amplifier to do anything useful.
This is where cool people write stuff.

What about if you touch someone's head with your hand. I heard wet skin is a good conductor
Yeah its how i spread my stupid
yes they do!

edit: they travel at the speed of light so they go forever.

but, like sound, it's gonna reduce in "power" by something like 25% every 5 feet. because it's expanding as a sphere.

practically speaking i'd think about 2-5 feet to be the maximum. maybe your brain waves glitch out a computer system or something.

I wonder if it's theoretically possible for psychic phenomena to exist, just not in our species. What if we meet aliens that evolved the ability to do stuff with their brain waves

You can do this!

It's currently admissible as evidence in court although it's still kind of controversial.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

Short answer is no. At least not consciously. Brain waves are just an electric field and any alien who could theoretically create a field strong enough to overpower existing quantum fields would affect themselves in the process.

So like maybe you have an alien race who's super power is to make themselves and everyone within 15 meters suffer violent seizures but I don't think any kind of psychic manipulation is ever going to be a thing.

Something more plausible is a species who has developed the ability to perceive electrical fields (e.g. sharks) that can "read your mind" by observing your brainwave emissions.

i don't like this.

then again they already have our information from day 1 with those foot/hand prints.
currently playing: elder scrolls skyrim (ps5)
RIP Sophie the dog: February 2011-april 2024. we'll miss you alot.
more plausible is that the universe is roughly the same everywhere including organisms and life.

ape-people, cat-people, whale-people, insect-people etc. is what i'd expect to find on other planets.

we dont see ANY organisms with psychic powers so we probably wouldn't see any on other planets.

Ok I have an experiment for you guys to try. Since electrodes can be used for mind reading and can be made of copper this gave me an idea. Place a American coin other than a penny (coins other than a penny are 75 percent copper) on your head and press down with your hand (you can also try 2 coins on opposite sides of your head). I tried this myself and it seemed like I was getting some information out of it but I couldn't comprehend it. For comparison try placing a coin on a table and press down on it (it feels like you are getting less information). Maybe someone who is more sensitive to EM fields than me might have better luck. Like I said I didn't have much luck with it but 2 coins work better than one probably because of the spike trains that travel across your brain

1-coins are zinc and nickel, only the penny has a copper coating
2-no

According to Google Gemini they all the coins besides a penny are 75 percent copper. Maybe it is wrong I don't know

Looks like my sources disagree with each other. I wonder who is right Wikipedia or Google gemini

Most coins used to be made out of copper and coated in something else. If you find an old quarter, you can cut it in half to see the copper on the inside.

I don't think they're made like that anymore.
