wtf game is over $100 unless it's some super special edition thing that comes with a bunch of physical crap you'll forget about in 2 weeks?
you must be American. Videogames outside of America are super expensive. :C
Yeah for real, you guys are lucky. Mad Rat Dead is 7000 here. Fire Emblem games are often 9000. The cheapest new modern games are often 3000. Only ps4 games seems to ever dip below 1000. And thats for bad stuff like Dissidia NT.I mean with conversion those prices are close to what you'd pay in USD

wtf game is over $100 unless it's some super special edition thing that comes with a bunch of physical crap you'll forget about in 2 weeks? As an example, Power Blade 2 on NES regularly sells for $700+ for the cartridge only because it was released in small quantities near the end of the system's life and so is rare and sought after by collectors.
Yeah tbh I didn't read this as a retro game topic, though I guess it should've been implied from the OP.Yeah, retro game collecting was a lot more fun back in the day when hardly anyone cared about old games and you could get them relatively cheap. It's still like that for some systems (Wii collecting isn't too crazy but it might be getting there) but a lot of it is stupidly expensive now.
So glad I do not give a fuck about that.
