The price of Lego in general is insane.
The price of Lego in general is insane.Thats also true, but just one rare minifig can go for $7k. Idk of any modern sets that go for that much.
Thankfully, I never got into LEGOs (or Minecraft) to warrant such shitty prices. The prices are high because of the very unique and detailed manufacturing process and how dedicated they are to quality control. Im not saying they arent expensive, but theres a reason for it. Any complaints a customer has with a set they buy, like a missing piece or sticker sheet, are very quickly addressed by LEGO.
Are these people kidding?
"That'll be seven thou-thous, please."
Maybe it's because I've only gotten into Lego recently, but I don't really see the point in the minifigs. I just want to build cool stuff. The minifigs are like half the fun of the Star Wars sets, imo.
Literally just round holes going into round pegs. ('-' )Thats a bit reductionist. Legos manufacturing process is really down to a science. Its very much not just holes and pegs. I recommend watching their documentary that explores it all.
Ain't no way people actively choose to buy this shit.
