Roger really knew how to get the bang for his buck and make some good movies in the process. He made his stinkers too but he certainly earned respect as a filmmaker.

If you asked me who the most important filmmaker in modern American cinema is, I couldn't tell you but there's about an 80% chance that they started working with Roger Corman and almost a 100% chance that they started working with someone who started working with Corman.

RIP. Lived well and long.

Fun Fact: Death Race 2000 had an arcade video game adaptation. It was one of the first licensed video game adaptations ever, and more importantly the first video game ever to create controversy due to the "murdering of passersby" part, despite how crude the graphics were.

If a tree fell in the forest would Roger Corman go over budget?
