Super Saiyan powers or Superman powers

There are far more Kryptonian powers than there are Saiyan powers

Without a source of incredible healing like a ton of sensu beans or healing chambers or a Namek with healing powers being a Saiyan isn't going to get you too far in our world.

Meanwhile if you are a Kryptonian you get everything you could possibly want at a ridiculously high level and eventually will get strong enough that interstellar flight is an option available to you.

Saiyan just for the coolness of SSJ transformations.

I love Dragon Ball and dont really follow Superman very much at all, outside of the Death of Superman arc.

The only things that Saiyans can seemingly do over Superman are:

Have visible auras of power
Change hair/eye colors
Shoot energy blasts from their hands
Zenkai boosts (more of a Saiyan thing in general than specifically Super Saiyan)
Transform into great apes, if they have their tails (again, more of a Saiyan thing than Super Saiyan - and great ape is obsolete if you can go SSJ, unless you just wanna be a gigantic monkey)

Teleportation is not a Super Saiyan power - it is a Goku technique. Beyond that, several of their powers overlap, albeit Superman seems to be much stronger. Supes also has super vision, super hearing, X-ray vision, heat vision, and cold breath.

Supes does have the weakness of Kryptonite. Saiyans have the tail weakness, but most SSJs dont have tails.

Problem with Super Man is that he has a fatal weakness. Saiyans used to be their tails, but they got rid of it.

While I did say Id want Supermans powers, to the people mentioning how hard youd need to train to get stronger as a SSJ youre already a SSJ in this scenario. You are already by far the most powerful being on the planet, and can stay that way with no training (Gohan didnt train for 7 years and was still able to go toe to toe with Dabura).

If Superman randomly showed up, yeah, hed kick your ass. But I dont think youd need to necessarily do any hard training under these circumstances. Or recover from near death experiences.

Kryptonian, easily. With Saiyan powers youd probably be Raditz at best. With Superman powers youd be godly without doing anything.

If something as absurd as having Super Man, or a Super Saiyan's powers are being mentioned, than why can't it be assumed someone would have obtained a Kryptonite, or atleast make an artificial one? Problem with comics are various different versions of said character, you mentioned a bullet with Kryptonite laced wouldn't be fatal, yet, I remember Super Man dying just being exposed to a Kryptonite stone in one of those future Super Boy arc. Regardless, he has a weakness. And Goku doesn't. Atleast not anymore.
