Alien doesn't necessarily mean intelligent or advanced. A notpig living on some other planet is an alien to us just as an Earth cockroach would be an alien to them.
fair. but given how we treat 'lesser' species, i bet a more advanced species would treat us the same as we treat pigs -- means to an end and nothing more.
