Thats the point I tried to convey earlier. Sony entertainment interactive has nearly twice the employees Nintendo has globally. Theyd have to hire like mad and join the race to the bottom that is AAA development nowadays. Bloated budgets and delays leading to losses and firings. Nintendo doesnt need any of that.
This pretty much. At this rate Nintendo is likely to be the only one to walk out of a major video game crunch/crash. I'm not particularly a Nintendo fan either, but what they're doing is smart at this point while everyone else is flailing.
