nintendo has never relied on third party games so as usual they're essentially supporting the switch by themselves, and with just a few new, original games per year they're not doing a good job of it
and theoretically since they're working with like ten year old tech, and at just HD or less it

take less time and fewer man-hours to make their games than your average AAA game right now
Theyve sold more on the switch than all of their other platforms combined. Id say thats doing a pretty good job. All those other third parties are struggling and having to fire people too. Such a good job Sony/MS are doing providing a healthy marketplace for them. That new princess peach game has sold as much as FF16.
