nintendo has never relied on third party games so as usual they're essentially supporting the switch by themselves, and with just a few new, original games per year they're not doing a good job of it
I mean, that's how you use it. I pretty much get any indie games I can on the switch due to ease of use. Dead Cells and StS are likely my most played games ever across PC and switch, discounting mods I'll take the switch versions every day. I also don't get terribly many first party games outside of Pokemon.
