I do feel bad for the people in here that apparently can't play >99.99% of games ever released, though, since the only locked 60fps games on consoles I can cite off the top of my head are Super Mario 3D World and F-Zero GX.TTYD is 60fps locked and the gameplay is based off the framerate.
Lol why do people unironically post this dumb shitThat isn't what I said, but you do you.
Literally go look up a video of Super Mario Odyssey then look up a video of the Kirby game I just mentioned. Or Star Allies. You literally have to be trolling to claim the human eye can't differentiate the two.

It's fine, and I'm someone who can easily tell the difference. It will always be around in games because choosing 30fps or 60fps is a matter of the devs making the choice to aim for those framerates, not a matter of hardware. It's absolutely a matter of hardware. If devs had infinite power to play with, I guarantee no games would be at 30. It's a compromise.

It's also a matter of sight (movement is smoother). Some games just control like shit in the mud regardless, like Soulsborne games.
F-Zero X being 60 fps was a big deal.This. 30FPS was only really a thing when games went 3D.
And the Kingdom Hearts remakes that broke game mechanisms because it was now running 60 instead of 30.
That said, 99+% of all Nes/Snes/Genesis games were running at 60 fps.
Once you buy a good TV with 120fps anything less than 60feels choppy. Most people are running 1080 or 1440p at 144 especially for comp games and you have people here saying they cant tell 30 vs 60 lmfao
You claimed humans can't see 60fps. Which is demonstrably false if you actually bothered doing five seconds of research on the subject.Nope. Try again. You can see if one is faster when comparing side by side, sure, but you wouldn't be able to tell exact framerate just by looking. I've done this test with elitists multiple times, by showing them a game running a framerate sub 60, but higher than 30. They always look at it and go "that's 60fps" incorrectly, every time.

The people that argue in favour of it are clowns." to "Humans can't tell the exact frame rate" which is a very different claim. In this test that's totally happened, did you show them a game running at 30 as well as between 30-60 fps?
