Done it once. The prep was the worst part. Thr procedure was no biggie. Hope you have an easy prep.Tyvm. The toilet will be my best friend I've heard, lol.
Did you get pills or the liquid?Always Liquid. Pills are dangerous for the kidneys.
Which version of the prep are you doing? Is it the premixed stuff where you add water or is a powder that you mix with powerade and then drink a bottle of glycol later?Premixed, add clear soda, juice, etc.
Still young for it, but I just want to make sure with some issues I'm having. Tomorrow is going to be hell though.it's not gonna be hell. Colonoscopies are painless. You're gonna be sedated too.
I got my first one coming up at the end of the month, been putting it off for the longest time. Strangely the thing I'm most nervous about is the anesthesia (I've never been put under before).I've been putting it off for a year now myself. I'm fine with the anesthesia, had it with my endoscopy. It was pleasant. I just dread the non-stop shitting tonight.
TIL a bunch of users here have had(or know suspiciously lot about) a colonoscopy.Family history of cancer means you start getting screenings and colonoscopy at age 35
what is going on with your intestines?

I was diagnosed with chrons disease when I had my first one. I'm overdue for another mostly because I was so mad at the process of being diagnosed in the first place. Took a year and a half of "you're fine it will go away in a week or two" before a Dr took it seriously and actually ran tests and I was young and didn't know or care to advocate for myself. What were your symptoms up to that point?
Make sure you bring some depends with you for after the procedure. There will be leakage. Not necessarily, but DO NOT trust a fart for the rest of the day.
Which solution did you get?Magnesium something something.
If you have the gallon I apologize for your doctor doing you dirty, Golytely tastes like someone put La Croix fruit flavoring in a jug of mucus.
I've had about ten of the procedures, first one I was 7.
So I have experience.
Magnesium something something.Did it come with its own measuring cup and whatnot?

Did it come with its own measuring cup and whatnot?Yup 16oz. Must drink 32 oz water within an hour after
I ask because the current best prep (in my opinion) is Clenpiq, which asks for two 8 ounce glasses of the mixture (powder and water), and it's honestly not bad to drink in terms of flavor and texture.
Gets disconcertingly hot when you're mixing it, though.
Make sure you bring some depends with you for after the procedure. There will be leakage.I didn't have that issue
Enjoy the sweet Propofol nap during the procedure. There is no sleep in the world like it.I was awake for mine
TIL a bunch of users here have had(or know suspiciously lot about) a colonoscopy.I had a a lot of issues after getting my gallbladder removed, they wanted to check for cancer/crohns/UC before drawing any conclusions
