What were your symptoms up to that point?
Intense abdominal pain, ~15 loose stools a day, blood in my stool. These symptoms lasted about 2 years and then went way down and it's pretty much completely under control now even though I don't take any meds for it. it flares up sometimes when I'm really stressed.
