Pickles ruin a burger because if there's a pickle on it then it's literally all you can taste, even if you remove it
I could do with or without, the pickles dont really make the burger for me. That said, Wickles >>>>>

I take them off and eat them by themselves. For some reason, I hate them on burgers but like them individually.

I like a pickle spear to be served with a burger, not on the actual burger

Only if its Daves Sweet and Spicy Pickles.

unless they're cooked onions, then I don't want pickles too

The answer is sometimes, not yes or no.
The commercial says that Church isn't for perfect people, I guess that's why I'm an atheist.
Pickles are a blight in general, but they infect burgers especially. Even if they are lighter ones that are harder to taste, the texture is just so gross.
If you dont like pickles on your burger then youre a subhuman troglodytes who isnt fit to exist.

I love pickles. It doesn't matter what they put pickles since I'd eat pickle spears or even whole of pickles if they're served as sides.
sometimes i'll put dill seasoning into the beef, or other times i'll make loaded burgers with minced pickles and onions and some cheese mixed into the meat before cooking. they always come out great and juicy, def worth a try.

i usually like my pickles as a side cus otherwise the bun gets really soggy.

I'll eat a burger with pickles, but I'd prefer without.

Now onions, those belong on a burger.

If I get fast food, pickles are fine, but if I go to a restaurant, no.

I like pickles but they overwhelm the flavor of whatever theyre paired with. Theyre best eaten alone.
Meant to vote for "I like pickles" but silly me, I just clicked through the poll's yay/nay without actually reading the poll itself, assuming oh so silly that it would be the same as the topic title.

How silly of me. Quite the pickle indeed.

I like pickles on almost all sandwiches. Also the pickles really make a BK or McDs burger imo. Someone gave me a McDouble a few weeks back and I was thinking "damn these pickles make this thing pop".

I don't really care. I don't add them but I don't take them off either.

It's not a war crime the first time.
Pickles add and enhance the flavor profile of a burger. Couple it with a ring of white onion, slice of tomato, and a strand of lettuce? It's all very divine.

The pickle I like is sweet pickle, though. The saltier alternative I find not to compliment the burger as well.

And to be clear, I'm talking about home made pickles. The stuff you get off store shelves are made to sit on a shelf for a long time. They are not very good.

Yes, but they arent essential

Voted no but they do make the burgers taste good for some reason

I would remove them and save for later with some other sandwich. Shouldve voted yes now that I think about it

Would that also equal the extinction of all cucumbers? Or would all the pickles disappear but then people would just make more?
Many things can be pickled. So why do we only refer to pickled cucumbers as pickles?

I especially loved pickled eggs.

Yeah Ive always wondered that as well. Why not call them pickled cucumbers?

have you ever had a pickled quail egg? Shit was nuts
I've always found it weird that people buy a BURGER and then put items on it that completely mask the flavor of the BURGER.

That would be even better. Fewer sushi rolls dragged down by cucumber.

While you're making the burger worse, you still have to appreciate a good pickle.

Pickles vary dramatically in quality and bad pickles just make everything worse. Like when ordering McDonald's I always ask for no pickles. When ordering Freddy's I always ask for extra pickles.

This. I only eat pickles when I'm only eating pickles. It's too overpowering to eat with anything else.

Depends on the pickle. For the most part, no.

They have to be firm with a good crunch. Practically still a cucumber. Not like the flimsy stuff.

McDonald's pickles suck, but it and mustard are the only things on their burgers with flavor.

McDonald's burgers smell awful and taste okay at best.

It depends. Fast food pickles that come in a bucket tend to be slimy and gross so I always ask to remove them. But at our diner at work they have fresh pickle chips that are awesome, I ask for extra of those.
Every day I wake up and promise I will be nice to everyone, then I deal with people at work and remember why that will never happen.
