Suddenly appeared a min. ago and now hovers over anything I look at on the forums.
I have ad block on, and see no ads. I know a week ago we had to agree to cookies w/ a similar larger prompt, but now there's a permanent bar over my UI.

They can't even push an overlay properly.... I'd be fine with it being there, IF IT WASN'T BLOCKING BUTTONS

Was just about to make a thread about this, too, cuz I've never seen this until today.

If it's an ad, it's getting past uBlock Origin, which isn't good. The entire thing isn't a link, only the part where it says "Powered by onetrust". Onetrust is just some Cloud provider, so it doesn't seem malicious, necessarily.

Seems it only happens with Chrome. Isn't happening on my Edge browser. Of course Chrome would be the exception. At least you can use the element zapper to remove it.

Just manually added all 3 elements of it to uBlock and it's gone. ez enough.

Failed attempt at hiding the ads from your view.
Fandom is thinking that you wont block what you cant see.

uBlock is best with firefox, and shouldn't be used with other adblockers, including private browser ad-blocker.

This is literally what I'm doing, but sometimes shit gets through the cracks. uBlock will probably be updated and handling this within the day, but it wasn't catching it for me just yet.

You can try manually updating ublock filter lists. They update automatically like every 5 hrs or something.

Element picker mode, the little dropper icon next to the element zapper. You'll need to select each element individually and create the rule to block it.

I'm not logging in on mobile to see if it makes a difference, but DNS66 seems to be blocking it for me using Firefox. I didn't wanna set that up, cuz it seemed like such a pain, but tbh, one of the best things I've ever done. No more mobile ads unless I'm using an app, so I just watch Youtube and shit in Firefox and no ads.

Same, I was getting the full page ad for every click for around 30 minutes, but now it's gone. I use Brave mobile with no extra ad blocks.

But this same popup happened a few months ago on gamefaqs, so this wasn't new. Full screen ad for a few minutes, then got rid of itself automatically.
