There's no drug testing in New York unless you're a DOT driver or work/contract for the federal government.
I assume if anything changes regarding how drug tests work, it will probably be like other drugs that require a prescription to use. If you test positive without a prescription/medical license (in a state that still tests for it) then you fail the test.
But the pessimist in me assumes itll still just be oh you smoked within the last week-month youre fired now
