This isn't about her specifically, it's about the fact I always have to keep considering what the ramifications of my actions will be if I encounter someone out in the world who pushes me to the point of a raised volume tongue lashing.
Depending on your job and position, of course. I'm not trying to bag on you or anything, but have you ever had to grow up in a collectivist environment before? If not, than I can understand why you don't get the concept.
