What a fucking joke. Just about anyone else would have been arrested, likely at gunpoint, and charged with felony eluding.

People constantly harp that cops need to be held more accountable, which they should. But this is the kind of shit that really makes me furious. People who work high level positions in the legal system and think theyre above the law cause of who they are and who they know. And they largely almost always are and get kid glove treatment for behavior that would ruin someone elses life. Guarantee you at worst shell be pressured to resign.

I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if even that happened. Resignation from a job that probably took years, if not decades, to get is a big deal. It's an actual consequence.

Glad to see they're not letting her off the hook so easily, and honestly I loved the way the cop handled the situation. Shame more can't be like him... But then most of us aren't DA's.

She should be disbarred as far as Im concerned. Someone like this has no business being involved in legal decisions dictating peoples lives.

I've been in the same room as her at jury duty. She sucks big time.
