It helps that I service my own AC units.

I keep it off unless I have company because they all complain.

Wow! Must cost a fortune in electricity costs.

In Jersey it would be 68, in Florida it's 76. Still don't know why it's different, it feels like the same temperature, probably because of different AC units.

Your Florida house might have the AC on all the time and that airflow makes it feel like youre cooler. That might also decrease the humidity in the house, which also makes it feel cooler. Or your thermostat might just be super off or in a bad location.

Don't have one, but if I had one and could afford to run it all the time it'd be permanently set to 18c during the day, 14 at night. (64 and 57 respectively in F.)
Hello there! I am a signature. I'm kinda surprised you're even reading me, to be honest. Most people wouldn't bother. You're better than that though. Thank you.
When money isn't really an object I like 68-69f, but these days I keep it on 75f so it's still warm but not uncomfortably so. Keeps the bill much more reasonable.

I don't have ac. I just open my windows and let the cool breeze in.

i've never lived in a home that has a thermostat or central heating and cooling or anything like that
It don't matter. None of this matters.

No A/C, we set the temperature to 0 and open windows/turn on fans.
Heat turned off and windows opened as well fan powered on at times

somewhere in the low 70s usually but I keep my beedroom door closed and it is the first vent in the line going that direction so it feels way colder and that is how I like it.
I have the heat at 70 and the fan on
I don't have central AC so I could have it set at either -40 or 204 and it wouldn't make a difference.

I keep it at 63 in the winter though when the heater is on.

78 - it pretty much has to be to avoid humongous A/C costs in the summertime.

Ideally, I'd have it at 74...but yeah, I just can't.
To/fro from-towards
I usually have mine set to 19. Might drop it to 18 as it gets warmer.
In the summer? Turned off. I hate the heat

Usually 80, and I don't turn it on until we hit the high 90s. My view on AC is that it should be used to keep you alive in extreme temps and nothing more. I hate when people use it to simulate their preferred climate all the time.

Not as much as you think. It certainly is more than during the winter, though. Despite it being a 5-ton unit, it's still just a gas-powered furnace. <_<

Its usually off unless it gets very hot. This part of TN is fairly mild compared to when we lived in Florida.
