While he was no tech genius, you could make a case that he was a genius in terms of figuring out what people liked, what would sell well, and how to make money. He was at least very smart about that. He had a few stupid ideas too, though, and he was very stubborn about them when he was young, but it seems by the 2000s he learned how to listen to people better.
HUGE asshole, though, and an absolute monster to his first wife and daughter for most of her life. Even after he stopped being Disney villain level terrible to his daughter, he was still an asshole who refused to admit how bad he had been.
