John 19:26-27
26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, Woman,[a] here is your son, 27 and to the disciple, Here is your mother. From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
I don't think this is exactly what I'm looking for, but it feels close. It's definitely interesting.
The fact that there are so many disagreements about whether John the baptist was the same person who wrote the gospel of John, who also may not have been the same person who actually followed Jesus, and so on makes it really hard to find the exact verse I'm looking for.
