Like in UK and Japan, where people drive on the left and the driver sits on the right, wheres the gas pedal? Is it still the right pedal? What about the turn signal stalk; is that on the left side of the steering wheel or on the right side?

It's exactly the same for pedals. I'm not sure if every car does the turn signals / wipers the same or not, in that regard.

There's four pedals on most cars in the UK:

  • Left pedal : the Clutch pedal , that makes the car go.
  • Left-Middle pedal : the Brake pedal , slows all four wheels at the same time.
  • Right-Middle pedal : the Gas pedal , the more you push it down the more it increases the fuel flow into the engine and the faster you go.
  • Right Pedal: the Turbo pedal, for those short bursts of speed you may need, for example over-taking.

Don't forget the pedal that launches the spiny blue shell.
