I'm excited for lots of snappy, quip-filled dialogue that sounds like no actual human being ever!

I dont care what political perspective the movie takes, this doesnt need to be a movie at all unless its a documentary about the corruption of Trumps administration

I don't trust Aaron Sorkin to portray the chuds as what they were. Violent insurrectionists bent on using force to disrupt the EC vote so that Trump could be installed as president.
Furthermore, The GOP is a Fascist Organization and must be destroyed
will either paint Trump as a hero or a villian

idk which political side this person is on
I don't see his dialogue style meshing well with this.
...I think I'm done here...
It would certainly be interesting to dig into the rabbit hole of the social media extremism pipeline but it seems like he just has some personal beef with Zuckbot. Feels like it would just point a finger at Facebook and say "see? Bad." Without delving into how people got there.

I really liked The Newsroom. I wish that would have been a slightly longer series. 3 seasons, really 2.5 was too brief.

Even "violent insurrectionists" seems too tame and sedate, considering what exactly the chuds were doing and why exactly they were doing it.

No, the culprits of the January 6th attack were nothing less than terrorists .

Yea blaming Facebook is like blaming a newspaper that shows up every morning for giving you bad news, while ignoring that you spend 5 hours watching news networks.

Twitter was a bigger problem leading to Jan. 6th than Facebook. At most FB was a better organizer of people, but Twitter was the radicalization platform.
Last night I was lying in bed, staring at the stars, and I wondered... Where the **** is my roof?
I like his writing style but 1. this is a movie that doesn't need to be made and 2. that style does not fit the type of people that participated in this whatsoever

1.Sorkin created the West Wing (a show I love), and if you know about that it will tell you everything you need to know;

2.However, the article says he wants to focus on Facebooks responsibility in creating extremism. So, the villain for this piece would be Mark Zuckerberg;

3.I dont really agree with some of Sorkins general premise here. I mean-Facebook and related platforms have played a big role in spreading GOP/MAGA BS far and wide. But the GOP laid the foundation for their dumb cult just fine with Rush Limbaugh and Fox News before the internet was even really a thing. In other words: Facebook et. al has definitely not helped the situation. But the GOP is ultimately the most responsible for this BS, and has and will spread it with or without Mark Zuckerberg.

Facebook is clearly not helping of course.

An opinion does not turn into a fact simply because the person holding it feels strongly about it.
I can't watch his stuff. The dialogue is way too unrelatable/unrealistic
