April 15, 2024: The Day the Internet Died
Earthworm Jim is one of my earliest gaming memories, at the neighbor's house

GROOvy!
It don't matter. None of this matters.

EWJ was a blast!
It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present, and a waste to live in the future.
(He/Him).
Sad those three went to video game retirement. Never to be seen again.

Wasn't he supposed to get a new game on some shitty new age Atari thing? Whatever happened to that? >_>

The thing about EWJ that stuck with me, was that Evil the Cat level with that music. Think it was the second level, but it stuck with me as a kid.
Yes and yes. The new tj&e actually is a blast.
Italian, French, German.

The screams in the background was epic while playing.

I recently watched a playthrough of Earthworm Jim on Youtube, and it totally messed with my head. I distinctly remember never being able to get through Heck because there was one spot where I just couldn't figure out what you were supposed to do to progress...but I also absolutely recognized all the stuff that came after it, which I logically never should have been able to see.

I also remember my little kid brain thinking "Psycrow" was pronounced "pissy crow", which, in retrospect, does seem to also be accurate~

Earthworm Jim was the only 3rd party mascot platformer I can remember that most people actually saw as groundbreaking. The sprite and character design hadn't been seen in anything before. It looked like a real cartoon.
...I think I'm done here...

I could never get past that damn "thorns" level. I must have tried hundreds of times on it.
What about boogerman?
Rage is a hell of an anesthetic.

Great artwork but the gameplay is bland plus the boss fights were terrible.

Sparkster is alpha.

Was gonna say Bonk too but I guess he was technically first-party.
Hell yeah. Groovy soundtracks to both.
